Beschreibung

HI I am Susie. I am a really friendly positive person who has had the privilege to have spent many years working as a registered nurse and now work ad hoc as a live in personal assistant, enabling someone with disability to access independence and adventure in everyday life.

In between working I love travelling to meet new people and places and including housesitting and dog walking. I have travelled widely, New Zealand, Scotland, USA, China, Central America, India and Europe and I am motivated to immerse myself in new places to experience people, places, cultures and food and seek other ways of doing and being - I look forward to being a part of projects within 'workaway.

My son and his family are moving to Italy and I am keen to join them on their journey by learning Italian, hoping to find opportunities for language exchange and spending time around the country getting to know more about the beautiful country, people and culture.

I love yoga and meditation, dancing, walking, cycling, baking sourdough bread finding new recipes and seeking small (and big!) adventures whenever they may present themselves.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am very caring, having worked as a nurse and a lot of experience caring for children and adults. I have had a lot of fun housesitting and dog walking and am very used to taking responsibility for other peoples property and belongings staying in various situations and homes working as a live in carer for very vulnerable adults.

I have a full disclosure and barring service current (DBS) certificate and recent health and safety training. I also have teaching qualifications and would love to have a language exchange experience to learn Italian.

I garden vegetables and flowers, love vegetarian cooking, baking bread and cakes. I am very creative and have done lots of general decorating and maintenance of houses.

I love to learn new crafts currently quilting and relax by knitting. It's essential for me to practise yoga daily - stretching and meditation keep my mind and body well.
