Hello everyone! :)
My name is Yasmin. I am 31 years old and live in beautful Vienna/Austria. Traveling is my favorite thing to do - so I can't wait for my next adventurewith workaway!
I still dream about my first workaway-experience in Tenerife!
I am a very open-minded and sunny person who loves to travel, meet new people and make great memories. It's easy to get along with me and I always have stories to tell. I also enjoy time being on my own, writing poetry or listening to music.
I'm totally interessted in learning about other cultures and get confident in new languages.
My biggest love are all kind of animals but especially horses - so that's the reason why I have been working with horses for over 20 years. As i grew up with a lot of different animals it comes that I'm very good with all animals. Thats also the reason why I am vegan (I'm very easy to please - don't need the fancy food!)
I'm a Primary School Teacher currently teaching second grade. I also worked as a Kindergarden teacher for children between the age of 1 and 6 years and as a babysitter for some month. Working and playing with children is something i totally adore.
What makes me special is:
...that I'm a versitle person who is able to handle difficult situations and make the best out of everything. I connect with people easily and treat all humans and animals with respect and care. If you need a helping hand - you can always count on me. For me it's important to work in a team and to support each other.
Why workaway?
... I want to build a connection to new people and broaden my horizon. I want to work with my hands and do something meaningful while exploring a new country and make memories for a lifetime.
Long story short:
If you need an empathetic and funny person who loves animals and children and KNOWS what it means to work hard and is ready to help you with any kind of work while you're also want someone you can have good conversations with - I am the one you're looking for :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I have a lot of experience with working (tack cleaning, brushing...) and training (riding, longing, walking) horses - i did some shows but my focus is always on treating animals in a respectful way as I see them as my friends.
I'm also very confident with cats and dogs but also love to work with farm animals.
If you need me to cook or bake delicious vegan food, help you with the houshold, cleaning the car, help with gardening I'd be very pleased to do so.
As I mentioned before I study primary school education and spent a lot of time in the classroom. I also did and still do a lot of babysitting (from 1,5 years to 5 years so far)
I'm good in supporting children in eveything they want to learn or when they need help for homework.

Was noch ...
My pastime is to be around animals and cuddle them for hours. Animals are the most important part of my life and I just love to spend time with them.
Any kind of creative work like painting or writing poems as well as listening to music belong to my life too.
I'm still working on my guitar skills - maybe you can teach me?
Gardening is something I'd like to learn about and harvesting vegetables and fruits!
Board games are fun and I'm always up for some activites together but I'm also independet so it's nice to spend some time just by myself. :)
I'm interessted in a lot of things and very enthuisiastic. What is very important for my workaways experience is: to be able to ride and work with horses would be the dream!

I stayed at Karens wonderful farm for one month and I still can't believe that I am back home now, wishing I could have stayed longer.
