Hello, my name is Stef! I am a dual Australian and Italian citizen taking a year off work to travel and am keen to learn more about permaculture and gardening, meet new people and be outdoors. Back home I work for Sydney Parklands and love being outside in nature hiking, camping, gardening, climbing or swimming. I love meeting new people and seeing new places. I also love cooking and practising yoga.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am an avid gardener, I learned a lot from my Nonna and Nonno who grew up on farms and ran a market garden when they migrated to Australia. I am confident I can manage almost any garden task. I have learned about bush regeneration through my work back home, this is more focussed on native Australian plants but could be helpful.

I’m a good cook and I love animals, I do a lot of pet sitting because I miss my dogs very much. I have some experience in demolition and painting, my dad is a builder and I helped him with some renovations around our home, I’m by no means an expert but he says I’m a very good assistant who always knows when the master needs a coffee.

I am passionate about the environment and have previously worked in sustainability. I have had a worm farm and compost at home so I could help with things like this.

Generally I am just a hard working and energetic person willing to give anything a go, I learn new things very quickly.

Was noch ...

I love the beach and the mountains, swimming, diving, snorkelling, climbing or hiking. I learned to sew and knit from my Nonna and I like to do both in my downtime. Most of all I just love being around people, getting to know them and hearing their stories.
