Beschreibung

We are Jordi (30) and Lídia (28) from Catalonia. Jordi is an archaeologist with experience working outdoors and some knowledge of building. In 2019, Jordi worked on various farms in Holland and Uruguay through WorkAway and WWOOF. I, Lídia, recently graduated with a PhD in biomedicine. I am always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges. We both love to cook and enjoy handmade foods.

We arrived in on Ireland on September and we have been voluteering in an organic farm since then. Here, we have gained skills in gardening, chopping wood, taking care of chickens, making hay in an old-fashioned way, and more. Also, we have had the opportunity of learning a lot of Irish culture and have visited some of Ireland's important archeological sites.

We love spending time outdoors, enjoying activities like trekking, climbing, and jogging. We are passionate about nature, Irish music and animals. Ireland feels like the perfect place for us! We are energetic and sociable, always looking to make new friends and immerse ourselves in different cultures. We respect and appreciate cultural diversity and are excited to meet people from around the world. Additionally, we are big fans of our language and culture, and we would be happy to teach you some Catalan in exchange for learning more about Irish culture!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Jordi spent two months in 2019 doing WWOOFing and one month in Ireland doing Workaway, where he has engaged in gardening, collecting and chopping wood, pruning, and various other tasks as needed.

During her PhD, Lídia learned how to multitask effectively. She is organized and determined. She has also gained experience in Ireland chopping wood, gardening, etc.

We both really love all kinds of outdoor work in nature.

We are both from Catalonia, a region in Spain near the Pyrenees. Since childhood, we have been going camping and hiking, and we love being surrounded by nature. We are very chill and respectful people.
