Hi everyone 😊

My name is Sofia, I’m 22 and I come from Padova, a city near Venice (Italy). I’m currently studying a Master degree in Human Rights at the University of Padua, and in September I’ll be in Paris for a month – I would love to spend this time living with a local family!

I’ve been volunteering with children for years, including after-school activities, summer camps, and cultural exchange programs. I also babysit regularly and absolutely love spending time with kids — playing, listening to them, helping them grow, and having fun together.

I’m responsible, warm, and creative. I can help with daily routines, games, homework, and also light housework if needed. I speak Italian, English and Spanish fluently, and I'm happy to help your children learn a few words if they are curious! I’m also currently learning Portuguese and some very basics of French, and I'm very excited to practice.

My biggest passion is traveling and discovering new cultures, places, and ways of life. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, hearing their stories, and learning from them — it always opens my mind and makes me feel more connected to the world. I’ve been lucky to live abroad several times, and every experience has made me grow as a person (Argentina and Belgium were the longest experiences).

What I’m looking for is not just a place to stay, but a meaningful exchange with a family. I’ll be respectful of your home, reliable with your children, and truly involved in your everyday life.

– Childcare: I have strong experience with children from different age groups — through babysitting, after-school support, summer camps, and intercultural programs.

– Languages: I speak fluent Italian, English, and Spanish, and I’m learning French. I’m happy to help kids or adults practice languages through games, conversation, or daily life!

– Cultural sensitivity & communication: Thanks to my international volunteering and exchange experiences, I’m used to adapting to new environments, understanding different habits, and communicating with kindness and respect.

– Creativity & organization: I love organizing small activities and games, and I’m comfortable taking initiative while respecting routines. I can also help with light housework, homework, or preparing simple meals (especially Italian ones!).
