Hi everyone, my name is Sina, I am 22 years old and currently studying biology for my bachelors degree. During my previous travels I often spent only a short time in a certain place, whereupon I realized that I would like to invest more time to get to know places ( and people) more intensively. Which is the reason why I signed up for Workaway, to connect with people and the nature around us on a deeper level. In my spare time I love to do any type of sport, right now in my time in Portugal I especially want to get better at surfing, which I first tried in new Zealand with the help of a beautiful family where I lived for some time.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My older sister already has two little daughters, with whom I spend a lot of time and also enjoy this time very much. I enjoy playing with them and getting involved with their ideas. Accordingly, I think babysitting would suit me well. I grew up in the village and my grandparents run a large garden with lots of vegetables. Unfortunately, we children were not involved much in the work, so my basic knowledge is limited. However, I would be very happy to consolidate a basic knowledge in these areas. Since I do a lot of sports, I am willing to do physical work and think I can take a lot. My brother is a carpenter, however since I live in a distant city to study, I don't get to spend enough time with him to pick up anything from his skills, but would be very happy to lend a hand in that area as well and learn new things quickly. I think that I have a good grasp and can quickly learn when it comes to certain tasks.

I'm just super excited to meet great people and places, hear stories, live more intentionally and make memories. Currently I'm also spending a lot of time with music (especially electronic), so if anyone needs a good playlist or wants to chat about great new tracks, I'm always up for it!
