Hola!! Bonjour!! Hiiiii :)

I'm Silvia, a Spanish girl from Huesca (though I've lived in Madrid) who's looking for a host in Zurich, Switzerland, come September 2024. Let me share a bit about myself: I studied Sports and Physical Activity, so I absolutely love being outdoors, diving into books and fashion magazines, jamming to music, and spending quality time with lovely people! Being sporty and a team player (I've played basketball and swam for years), I'm super sociable and open-minded. I'm proactive, fully committed to my tasks, and always excited for new projects and adventures.

Being Spanish, food, a cozy home, and the sun (yes, the sun!) are super important to me. I always strive to make myself and others feel comfortable. Life is all about balance, right? So let's chat, but also appreciate the quiet moments. Let's stay active, but also savor a good meal together! I have a deep appreciation for art, culture, and learning—I'm hoping this experience will nourish my soul.

I’m bilingual in Spanish and English! I spent a few months living in France, so my French is pretty solid (I’d love to keep practicing, so if you speak French: awesome!). I’m also just starting to learn German. I would really appreciate any help with German and Swiss-German! (It might require a bit of patience, but we can balance it out with some Spanish language exchange :))

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have huge experience looking after kids, I’ve been a swim coach and a PE teacher for little ones from age 2 all the way up to 16. I love playing games, planning fun stuff, hanging out, and learning from them. Kids and I? We just click! (I seriously love working with them!!!)

In daily life I have also developed my everyday-skills. Moved out at 18 and have been doing my own thing since then (think cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry…). I’m super tidy and love keeping things neat. Need help keeping your place spick and span? I’m your gal! I’m all about that calm, organized vibe.

Finally, I practice a sport every day, which helps me to regulate myself. I love reading, I love art (music and painting especially) and I love enjoying time with friends. So, if you’re up for a healthy lifestyle, some artsy chats, or just a good conversation over some tasty Spanish food, we’re gonna have a great time together! :)

Just to highlight, I'm super independent and self-reliant, but also highly sociable. At home, I'm all about cleanliness, organization, and respect. My favorite sports? Football (I love watching, but I'm not the best player, haha), swimming, and running! I absolutely love spending time outdoors, breathing in the fresh air, and being near water. Plus, I'm really into painting, drawing, and reading.

I'm super excited to explore Zurich and the rest of Switzerland (I adore your country!). I'd be so grateful if you could share your local insights, tips, and guidance during my stay.
