Hello guys!
I `m Silvia, 32 years old from Cologne, Germany. I have currently quitted my job as a doctor in hospital in order to take a break, support some volunteer projects in Greece and Kenia and to try workaway for the first time!
I love to explore different countries, cultures, landscapes and get to know people. In general I am a very curious person and love to learn things (theoretical and practical). After doing some backpacking trips to south america, asia and europe, I wanted to stay longer at places, give something back by working and maybe learn some new skills as well. Thats why I chose to try workaway :)
I did some wwoofing before in 2021 and 2022 on two farms in Germany. There I helped with taking care of the animals (mostly sheep and lamas) there, gardening, making cheese and small building stuff. This I really enjoyed!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
- Two wwoofing experiences:
farms with different animals (sheep, lamas, geese, horses). There I took care of the animals, cleaned the barn, helped with making cheese, gardening, small building work, cooking, chopping wood.
- work experience:
As a doctor I am experienced with medical topics (internal medicine, psychiatry)
I had multiple side Jobs as a waitress, bar tender, teacher, everyday assistant for disabled students.
I have good physcial fitness and don`t mind getting dirty.
Furthermore, I am very motivated to learn new skills!

I want to broaden my horizon after having a heavy work schedule for the las 1,5 years.
