Hello! Hola! Bonjour!

My name is Shanni and I am passionate about travelling, seeing nature and writing blogs. I am energetic, enthusiastic but also enjoy down time with my journal. I have been travelling between employment since I completed my degree in Sports Therapy and cannot wait to immerse my self throughout more amazing countries.

I always strive to try new things in my personal and work life so would be delighted to learn new skills and help you with any tasks you need.

House/Pet sitting in England/Wales/Scotland

I ensured house work was completed to a high standard and completed additional tasks such as weeding, fence painting and deep cleaning. I learned to care for dogs, cats, lizards, alpacas and fish.


Camp counsellor in New Jersey

I created and implemented activity programs. On weekends I moved wood and assembled equipment. I was also a lifeguard.


Sports and English coach in Zambia

I spent a month in the small town of Kabwe, where I taught in three different school an the community field. I used sport to educate students on important topics such as human rights and gender equality. I also taught English's classes and they delightfully taught me Bemba language.


Medical team and sports massaged in Gibraltar

I worked 14 hours shifts in the summer and so learnt how to avoid heat stroke and adapt to long hours. I completed first aid, pre and post massages as well as supportive taping. I got to work with athletes from across the globe and in many sports such as basketball, judo, swimming and more!


Boccia Championships in Liverpool

I helped with organizing athletes and ensuring the event ran smoothly. I also took shifts in scoring which involved high level of attention and detail.


Teaching English in Thailand

I create dynamic lessons plans to teach kids from age 4-16. I taught through games, dance and songs. I also helped with art projects such as display walls.

Was noch ...

Board games and card games are top of my list of ways to pass time. I would love to exchange games we know to expand my list.

I hope to visit more national parks and explore their beauty through hikes and days out.
