Ich bin gerade

Beschreibung

Hello, my name is Fien, a 20 year old from the Netherlands. currently i work with an Icelandic horse trainer half the week and the other half i work on a dynamic organic farm.
I enjoy the outdoors, working with and being around animals, good conversations, eating together, making music, but also having some quiet time for myself every now and then. Give me a cup of tea, or hot water, and I am content (or let me weed a vegetable garden, few things make me as happy). In the mornings I am on my best, and after 20:00 pretty much useless.
I want to do workaway to learn how to use my hands well in building, gardening, carpenting, and if possible to learn more about dairy produce. But also get to know different people and learn about their lives and what drives them.

From the end of August I will be travelling by bike to Spain. I am looking for a place to stay, help and meet new people along the way.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have worked on multiple Organic farms and on multiple Icelandic horse training facilities, these are the things i have a lot of experience in, as well as cooking for families or groups of about 5 people (also vegan, gluten free, and low in carbs).

Art projects, mending clothes, embroidery, painting paintings (or walls), Drawing, baking and singing/making music are all hobby's that have given me some skills in working with my hands and also in looking/tasting/listening carefully (which i think is an important part of life general).

I have some experience in: beekeeping, preserving fruits and vegetables, pruning, bicycle maintenance, giving excursions and working with mentally disabled children. These are ar all things that i have enough experience in to be a useful help but do not feel comfortable enough in to lead projects on my own.
