Hi there, I am a 51-year-old woman with an East German background! Today that seams not interesting anymore but it explains a little bit about me. Growing up in the GDR gave me the opportunity to expire different societies and I learned to improvise a lot.
I grow up in a small town with many different animals and a huge garden. My sister and I had to help a lot. There should be skills left from those days! In addition, my parents had a private firm for plumbing. That why I became a plumber in my first profession and worked in that field for some years.
However, after the reunification of Germany I moved to Berlin and studied social work which I do since over 20 years now. I am working with people who got in trouble with the law. Some of them spend time in jail.
Since I do that for quite a long time I like to have a break and so I planed my Sabbatical which one will start in May! I hope that there will be possibilities to work somewhere else even with the pandemic...

You might like to know that I am an active person with a good mix of outdoor activities. Riding the bike and Yoga for instant. And I am interested in art and visit cultural events of Berlin a lot. Documentary movies got my interest and politics too. For relaxation I love to cook and doing handicrafts.
In addition I am very interested in Thai massage. I have a certificate for foot reflexology massage and love to learn the Body massage from Thai culture now. When I get the certificated of that, I hope to start with it professionally…
