Hi!
I’m Sasha, a young Belgian woman who just finished her studies in bioengineering. Although I truly enjoyed my student years, I’m now following a long-time dream: traveling on my own, discovering new places, and meeting inspiring people along the way!

My first big adventure will take me from Belgium down to Morocco, where I plan to spend some time before (hopefully) joining a transatlantic sailing trip to the Americas.

I’m very curious about people, cultures, and different ways of living. I love learning new skills, sharing daily life, and creating meaningful connections. I’m quite sporty (and humble, I promise 😉) and I enjoy being active outdoors, whether that’s gardening, hiking, working with my hands, or simply exploring the area and its fascinating nature.

I feel most fulfilled when I’m discovering new perspectives, and even more so when I can contribute to projects that have meaning.

I like to travel slowly, immerse myself in places, and give back wherever I stay. I’m really looking forward to discovering more of the world by first discovering yours, and sharing ideas, stories, and moments together.

I’m relatively fluent in English, but I’d love to improve it further by practicing with people over longer periods of time. I would also love to learn Spanish, even though, for now, no hablo español at all. Finally, I’m always curious to discover new ways of communicating, so I’m open to learn any language I come across on my journey.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I grew up in a community similar to an eco-village, surrounded by nature, light habitats, animals, and a strong sense of sharing. Thanks to this, I have experience in:
Practical skills: basic woodworking, animal care, construction.
Community life: teamwork, childcare, sharing responsibilities, and embracing people’s differences.

As a student, I also worked in several different sectors:
Hospitality: cooking and serving in restaurants.
Research: developing patience and precision in laboratory work.
Construction: helping with yurts (woodwork, textile work, and setting up).
Childcare: babysitting in private homes.

I still have many things to learn, but I’m motivated, adaptable, and eager to pick up new skills—especially when smiles and passion are shared!
