We are currently travelling across Asia and will return to the UK in April 2024 after many months! However we are looking for a new projects from October 2024 ideally within Latin America

Beschreibung

My husband (Rich) and I have a shared passion for travel and any new adventures! We are a British couple who have travelled pretty extensively together over the last 10+ years having visited over 50 countries.

We recently spent 1 year teaching English as a second language in Central Thailand (Suphanburi) where we fully immersed ourselves into the local culture to work and learn more from a different perspective.

I love, (and teach) Pilates, I am a qualified Personal Development Coach and have many years of experience in Human Resources and People Management from the Corporate world and have run my own business for the last 6+ years. Rich plays guitar, loves music, all nature and previously held professional roles in Sustainability, Laboratory Management and Forensic Science.

We love nothing more than meeting new people, exploring new places, new wildlife and trying new activities. In particular, we love swimming, walking, cats & dogs (and all animals) reading, eating and generally being open to see and experience new things.

We have been members of the platform called 'Trusted House Sitters' for many years and have received excellent 5* reviews for looking after pets and the homes of many hosts across the UK and Thailand if you need other feedback and references from their personal experience of us.

We have finally started of journey of learning Spanish and have been practicing daily for the last couple of months. We would love to continue to learn more Spanish as have close friends who live in Spain and Mexico and want to continue to travel and explore Central & South America as these are beautiful places in the world

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Sarah = I am a native English speaker and until recently, (October 2023), I taught English as a second language in Thailand to secondary school students. Prior to that I ran my own business (based in the UK) as a self-employed Human Resources Consultant, Executive & Personal Development Coach and Leadership Team Facilitator. I spent more than 15+ years in various industries in the corporate world. I am also qualified to teach Pilates (both small classes and private 1:1s). I am also a 'digital nomad' as still coach a number of private clients online around the world whilst I travel.

Richard = I am also a native English speaker until recently, (October 2023), I taught English as a second language in Thailand to secondary school students. Prior to that I worked as a Sustainability & Climate Change Officer for a Council in the UK where I worked in a small team providing advice, guidance and support internally and externally to the public to raise awareness of climate change matters. I held previous positions as a Laboratory and Facilities Manager, was the Social Media Coordinator at a Medical Research Charity and also spent many years as a Forensic Scientist and Forensic Reporting Officer. I am a lead singer in two separate bands and also play the guitar and keyboard

Was noch ...

We both love nature and that includes anything being outdoors as we are quite fit and active. We love walking (and have almost finished a big trek of the South West Coastal Path in the UK - 670 miles in total), running, swimming, exploring new bands/music, dancing, reading (both fiction and non-fiction), trying new foods! We love card and board games and have found its a great way to help the kids in Thailand learn English (both young and adult students). We like to have fun and believe we bring energy and enthusiasm for everything we do.
