Beschreibung

Hello, I'm Sara from Slovenia. I'm 37 and I have a 3,5 year old son who is travelling with me.

After spending our first Workaway in Galicia, Spain for almost two months in Autumn 2023 which has been very generous with us in terms of experience, new knowledge and new friendships;
now I would like us to get to know other places and feel from up close the people, the nature and the customs of the land. Our next destinations on the wishlist are the UK and Ireland.

The Workaway concept appeals to me, because there are many Workaway projects that are based in the country side or in places near pristine nature. We really like spending time in places where you can feel Nature 's wild presence. Another reason is that I would like us to experience living in community with other families and Workawayers. Also I would like to learn and experience practises of permaculture, living in community, alternative schooling to later implement in my homeplace.

What brings me happinnes? :)
Lately, going on adventures with my son. Spending time in nature, spending time with animals, being near bodies of water. Singing. Facilitating women's circles. Being in company of kind people :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- I have mothering and housekeeping skills. Not the most varied cook though, but I am happy to share the recipes I have mastered and gladly will do the dishes and other housekeeping stuff :).
- Basic gardening, basic farm keeping (as a child I spent a lot of time on my grandparents' farm - drove a tractor when I was 12, wouldn't do that now:))
- Horse care - I used to ride horses as a teenager.
- Linguist by education, I speak English, Spanish, Russian, Serbian fluently, intermediate Portuguese, some French, I understand Gallego. Slovenian is my mother tongue.
- Women's circle facilitator.
- Singer
