Hi there 😊
We love sports and travel. Jacqueline (Jay) is a videographer and artist. Dan is a photographer. We both spend much of our time underwater, capturing footage of the underwater world. Between us we have a lot of skills from farm work experience, to design, and IT skills.

Jacqueline has worked on four farms - dairy, sheep, pigs, chickens and horses. She has also worked as a pet sitter in the past. She can use some power tools and is good at solving practical problems. Jacqueline also has videography and editing skills. She has worked as a graphic designer and has illustrated books.
Dan has been an IT manager for 18 years and has designed many websites - anything computer related is right up his street. He has professional photography and Photoshop skills. At University, he ran the juggling society and taught people circus skills. He also enjoys cooking.

Dan and I stayed with Alison on Gabriola Island for four weeks. She is generous, engaging and there was never a dull moment during our time spent with her. She has a lot of interesting stories to tell and made us feel at home from day one. Dan and Jay were here for 3 weeks and managed to accomplish lots during their stay.
From cleaning out the RV, to pounding fence poles, clearing land, helping with all aspects of animal care, picking rocks, weeding, repairing fences, housekeeping and general tidying on the property, they kept themselves busy and were a tremendous help.

What a marvellous nine weeks we have enjoyed with Jacqueline (Jay) and Daniel (Dan) !
They came to us in early October as workaway helpers and guests; they left us early December as delightful and trusted friends. Today they fly back to London.
