Beschreibung

Hi, I am Simon, a semi-retired professional photographer. I spent my working life travelling around the world photographing architecture and interiors, but I never interacted for very long with local people on my photo shoots. Now, I want to be able to do just that.

I love connecting with all types of people, especially those who love the environment, wildlife, conservation, history, photography, and architecture, and generally have a good chat about random stuff; laughter is important to me ( although I am not a comedian). I always manage to see the funny side of things. I am easygoing, very young at heart ( most people think I am much younger than my age), a hard worker, and empathetic. I learn quickly, and I am not afraid of hard graft. If I am helping someone, I enjoy it immensely.

Here are some of my skills: painting walls (I find it relaxing! ), DIY, gardening, pet sitting, helping around the house, photography, empathy, mentoring, teaching photography and English, Social media and marketing, good listening skills, tidy and organised, and lover of life. I am very open to learning new things and new ways of doing something. I love to get on a bike and cycle; it's my meditation. If you want to know more, please ask.

I love all things photography and imparting my knowledge. I am super happy to pass on my skills, having spent over 25 years teaching. I also enjoy meeting people from different cultures, outlooks, and life goals. I love chess, Monopoly, cycling, hiking, bird watching, live music, art events, photography, and cooking.
