We are an active couple with a love for food, culture and exploring. Keen to travel, we know Australia will bring a new adventure for us and are hopeful to meet some friendly faces along the way!

Beschreibung

Hello! If you're reading this, hopefully we get the opportunity to meet and work together. Having grown up in the countryside of Ireland, I've always enjoyed exploring the outdoors, accompanied by nature and many animal friends.
My girlfriend, Lydia (from the UK), is a yoga-animal loving person, and together we are keen to start this adventure and find new experiences!

Living in London has made us both realise that city life only stimulates a fraction of the brain, so moving to Australia feels like the right move. We want to learn new skills, enhance the ones we have, but also live a more healthy simple life.

Hands on, motivated, outdoorsy and v. friendly are only some of the things we pride ourselves on - we also happen to be extremely hard workers!!

I'm new to work away but really looking forward to working in completely different environments and making new memories. We're young, fit and open minded. My motto is don't judge anything/anyone until you've tried it or met them.

We are currently in Bellingen, NSW but looking to make our way north over the next 6 months.

We have just completed our RSA, RSG and in the process of completing our white card.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both have a range of skills ranging from the following:

- Hardworking: No matter what the work is, we both love challenges and are pretty competitive which has given us a really good work ethic.
- Fast Learning: We have moved between different industries/countries over the past few years and have constantly been able to quickly adapt.
- Open minded: In Ireland we have the term "Notions" , which means a person thinks they are better than someone or something. You can rest assured we have no notions. Here for a good time, not a long time!
- Farm work: Both of us have grown up in the countryside around farms in Ireland & UK.
- Construction: Ryan has experience working on building sites during summer holdings when in school.
- Volunteering/childcare: Lydia has volunteered in schools for children with additional needs and has experience in childcare [plus she is an aunty!]. With a background in drama, Lydia is keen to enhance her skills and become more of a creative person.
- Football Coaching: Ryan comes from a footballing family. Ryan has completed the following English Football Association Certification; Introduction to First Aid in Football, Safeguarding Children in Football, Playmaker - level 1 coaching badge.
- Animal Care: Both of us have experience with animal care having grown up in animal households.
- Cooking: Ryan is a passionate cook - Lydia gets by but has a keen interest to enhance!
- Driving Licence: We both have a driving licence and Ryan has experience of driving cars & Vans.
Production: Lydia has worked in the television industry for 6 years, across shows for ITV, BBC, Netflix, Amazon Prime and many others - let's just say she knows how to put in the hours.
- Campaign Management: Ryan has worked for charities in Ireland, running fund raising campaigns and charity events for Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin. Lydia has extensive experience in the Media Industry running Brand campaigns for ITV in London.
- Customer service - Both of us have worked in the retail and hospitality industry over the years (Lydia even cleaned toilets at McDonald's)
- Sales - Ryan has spent the past 6 years working in the Tech industry working in Sales & Marketing.
- Cleaning: Whilst I am the cook, Lydia is obsessed with cleaning...she will tell you herself!

Was noch ...

We love the outdoors and sports. On any given weekend, you'll find Ryan playing Gaelic Football and Lydia swimming or zenning. We get outdoors, hike, explore and experience different cultures. Experiencing different cultures has really led to us loving cooking together and cooking different type's of Cuisine. Lydia loves Thai & Vietnamese and is partial to a traditional British Sunday roast. Ryan likes spice and love's Korean, Mexican and Latin American food.
