I am long-time work away/seasonal work/ and work trader looking for opportunities that support remote work (or short stays during off time). I may be open to longer/less remote work focused opportunities after July, 2024.

I have worked with horses for over 13 years, from eventing and fox hunting to western packing and tourism. I am most interested in exploring liberty / natural horsemanship, packing, trails, and possibly endurance riding. I have helped younger/unexperienced horses gain miles under the saddle, and would love to learn more about training horses. It is a big goal of mine to gain experience in gentling mustangs as well. I have also worked with dogs, birds, cats, hedgehogs, and even at the zoo - so I am happy to help with animals of all kinds! I also do all the chores associated with fun animals, from mucking to fencing.

I also have experience in assisting on carpentry projects and have worked extensively on a variety of farms. I love learning new skills like chain saw work or driving tractors to sheep shearing or livestock rounds ups.

Right now, I am most interested in positions in the Pacific North West and British Colombia, but am open to the western U.S. as a whole as well! I would love to meet some of my equine education goals through work exchange, but am also interested in house/farm sitting opportunities or work trades that could evolve into longer term arrangements in the future.
