We are currently house sitting at the moment and looking for workaway oppurtunities in Februry until April

Beschreibung

We are a couple that love travelling and diving into different cultures. We have recently worked in the Vendee region in France in a mobile home camp site.
We have also lived and worked on a few permaculture farms in Portugal. Our most recent Workaway was in Odiaxere in Portugal. We were working on an animal sanctuary looking after rescued horses. Prior to this we had little farm experience. We spent most of the mornings feeding, mucking out and maintaining the farm. It was an amazing experience learning about all the farm animals and how to care for them.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We have completed two seasons last year, Our first was Les Evureils Campsite in the Vendee. We were working full time here for four months and our Our roles were : to clean the mobile homes after each guest and prepare them for future guests, to greet guests when they arrived and check them in to there accomodation, to provide any information about the local area and upsell tours, to work as a team and assist other members of staff if extra help was needed. We also worked in Finland during the Christmas season as Elf Guides. This was an absolutely amazing experience we were able to live inside the Arctic circle and see the Northern lights. Our role included collecting customers from the airport and fitting them with winter clothes, we then guided them for the duration of there stay and ensured that everything went smoothly. We worked with Reindeer and Husky's every second day and some days would be outside in extreme cold weather.

We also worked many of customers service and retail jobs previously so we have excellent customer service skills

Was noch ...

We are both love nature and in our spare time we love to explore our surroundings. The best thing about working in different countries is you get to experience different areas and cultures! We also love music and attending festivals!
This year we have travelled to 9 countries, we have had amazing experiences and have made lifelong friends. We also spent time with reindeer and huskies working in Finland inside the Arctic Cirlce.
