Hey there. (:

I'm travelling with my friend Alex at the moment and we're looking for a workaway at the beginning of september. We're both really excited to meet new people, learn new things and just do something different.

A bit about us:

Sarah (25) loves to travel and has worked on several different projects abroad. Some of the most interesting ones included a penguin rescue in Brazil, insulating a house with sheep wool in Ireland and house sitting in the British Virgin Islands. Her favourite thing is to meet people from different countries and get to know other cultures. If you're interested, she'd love to cook some traditional german food for you. When she's in Germany, she is working on getting her masters degree in psychology. In her free time she is usually outdoors with a group of friends: Hiking, horseback riding, playing beachvolleyball...


Alex (24) just started travelling more often and is really excited to do his first workaway project. He is a great cook and good with DIY projects. In Germany he is working as a paramedic and is getting his bachelors degree in economics and political science. In his free time he is usually out in nature or playing sports. Generally he's a very social person and easy to get along with.

Both of us are fluent in german and english,

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm an always enthusiastic person who enjoys learning new skills. Usually I'm a fast learner and I don't mind hard work.

As for job experience I've worked part-time at a high-ropes-course and a bakery for 5 years each. Also I got some experience in tutoring children in english, german and maths. I'm volunteering at a swimming club in Germany and therefore regularly hold swimming classes.

At home my family owns two horses which I have taken care of since I was a child. I don't enjoy riding in tournaments but go riding approximately 3 times per week.

I spent a semester going to school in New Zealand and did part of my masters degree in the US so am fluent in English. (TOEFL score: C1)
