Hi !
I'm Rohan, 33 and I come from Belgium.
Currently travelling and working in Switzerland.
I consider myself as a passionate and hardworking person. Even though i worked the 10 passed years in the kitchen, i love learning different skills and things and always give my best.
Outside of work, I'm both a very calm person ,as I can spend hours reading or spending time on my own and relax and also a very energic person, as I do love sports, going out for a long run, keep myself busy with all kind of different things.
Maybe a little bit shy at first, I become more open once I know people a little bit better.
So yeah..

After school I worked for 7 years with my father in our own restaurant and learned a lot of things in this area.
In the restaurant I started working as a waiter and learned how to take care of the customers. And then for 6 years I worked in the kitchen. Even though I don't consider myself as a "real" cook (I never "studied" to become one), I learned so many things while working alongside other cooks. I was for a long time the pizza chef and our pizzas had a lot of success.
Of course, by owning the restaurant with my father, I learned also a lot about management and everything that goes with it.
After that I also worked for a year in a community kitchen, where I learned to work with a bigger team.
I am always happy to learn, every kitchen has it's own way of seeing and doing things.
In my first workaway experience, I had the chance to work on a campsite, where besides of the work in the kitchen, I also had other tasks to take care of. Handy work, cleaning the place, taking care of customers. Every new experience, new things that I can learn, I consider them as fun and it makes me happy ! I'm open to every kind of job and always happy to learn or to show what I am already capable of.Alter
