Beschreibung

Enthusiastic and adventurous young couple from New Zealand and the UK, looking to spend summer 2024 in Europe working/volunteering with any projects water related! We met last summer working in a wilderness summer camp in the Howe Sound (British Columbia), and have since travelled New Zealand, Wales, Canada, and England together.
Currently, Max is working as a tradesman in the UK, whilst I finish my third year of Medical School at Cardiff University.

As a couple, we value novel experiences, and the chance to develop and diversify our versatile skilsets. Our hobbies revolve mostly around the great outdoors; Max is a keen sailor, with many years of experience and nautical miles under his belt, Robyn is an avid hiker leading us to walk the Pembrokeshire coastal path.

We are keen to try something new and hope that this experience will provide us an opportunity to grow and learn something new!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- Organisational. Max and I managed cabins of ten+ children whilst at camp, and worked together to run the watersports activity programme.

- Outdoors/logistical. Max and I supported cabins of children to hike/canoe into the Howe Sound for 'Out Trips', sleeping under a tarp with food cooked over a whisper light.

- Nautical.

- Childcare. Robyn has worked as a babysitter and volunteered with a support group for children with autism. Robyn currently works within the care sector. Max has worked as a kayak coach for children aged 10-15. Both Robyn and Max spent summer 2023 working on a summer camp for children.

- Hospitality. Robyn has spent time working as a waitress, and managing private functions, Max has experience managing and working in large events.

- Practical carpentry skillset. Max has worked for two years on residential builds

- Formal Qualifications. Robyn holds up-to-date first aid qualifications, food hygeine certifications, and DBS checks. Robyn holds a first-class Biomedical science degree. Max holds first aid, RYA day skipper, STCW10, RYA Powerboat level 2, and Bronze Medallian Lifeguarding.
