Beschreibung

Hi, I’m Robin, 44, from the Netherlands.

After many years of working as a self-employed project manager and business controller, I’m taking some time to explore a different way of living. I enjoy travelling, but for me it’s not just about seeing places. I like getting to know people, experiencing everyday life in another country and becoming part of a place for a little while.

I’m curious by nature and I enjoy learning new things. I like being outdoors, working with my hands, being creative and spending time with animals. I also enjoy gardening and simple practical work. I have some experience with woodworking and small building projects, and I’m always happy to learn from people who know more than I do.

What I’m looking for through Workaway is a genuine exchange: helping out where I can, learning something new, sharing experiences and hopefully becoming part of the household or community rather than simply passing through as a tourist.

I don’t need everything to be perfect or planned. I’m quite independent and used to figuring things out, but I also really enjoy good conversations, a shared meal, exploring the area together or simply having a cup of coffee and seeing where the day takes us.

I’m looking forward to meeting interesting people, discovering different ways of living and hopefully being useful along the way.

Because I like to do a lot of things, I can also do a lot of things a bit. Such as gardening, carpentry, helping with cooking, painting, being creative, glass engraving, photography, filming and editing, computer work, canoeing.

I have my driver's license, as well as a boating license and diving certificate.
