We both love to design, make, and repair things. We are nature enthusiasts and really enjoy living in beautiful landscapes. Our biggest dream is to have a van rental business and a community art studio in Alaska.

I (River) have been studying Spanish in school and really enjoy speaking it with native speakers as well as people who want to learn. I (Lucia) speak Slovak as my native tongue and know how to speak Czech as well. I am currently learning a bit of German but need more consistent practice.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are easy-going, hardworking people, and our professional backgrounds are in Product Design and Ceramics. I (River) have a lot of experience working jobs with carpentry, welding, painting, landscaping, and restoration of buildings, boats, and vehicles. I recently graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Industrial Design where I was focusing on outdoor gear and van conversions. I have worked as a handyman in the wilderness of Alaska, and I have also worked on several boats in Alaska as a fisherman. I am a skilled handyman and often take a creative approach to solving problems.

I (Lucia) have a degree in fine art in sculpture and ceramics. I have worked as an art teacher, then in an art restoration company, and for a while, I was waitressing in a bistro. I also have a lot of experience working in ceramic studios where aside from working on projects I maintained the studio's cleanliness and functionality. I am really good at DIY and problem-solving. I like working with my hands and cleaning. I am good at housekeeping, organizing, and maintaining things. I also like working outside and gardening.

Was noch ...

I (River) really like to laugh, go shopping for vintage clothing, go hiking, and taking pictures. I also really like geography, history, and languages.
I (Lucia) really like bouldering, yoga, meditating, hiking, making good matcha tea, oolongs, and great filter coffee.
