Hi!
My name is Quintte, I am 18 years old. I live in The Netherlands with my parents, little sister and our black Labrador dog.
Currently I am having a gap year from school after graduating. During this gap year I would love to discover more about the world, other people and their cultures.
I speak Dutch, English and average French. Since I am a language person I would love to learn new languages or improve my languages during my gap year.
Other people see me as an enthusiastic, reliable, caring and creative person.
Over the past one-and-a-half years I have been working at a fine dining restaurant in my village. I always feel at ease while working with the amazing and close team. Making the team and our guests feel at ease makes me happy and gives me an energy boost.
Besides work I like to cook, meet friends, try out other cuisines and spend time with my family.

I am looking forward to the upcoming year and meeting new people from around the world.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

In the past year I travelled solo to Nice (France), Naples (Italy) and Lisbon (Portugal). I learned a lot about myself through these trips; I am independent, I can solve problems, I can be spontaneous, open minded and calm in difficult situations. After every trip I came back as a more developed and more aware person and I love that! I want to continue this!
I like to learn new things, on the other hand am I always interested and enthusiastic to teach other people new things about for example the French language and culture, gastronomy and beverages, the Dutch language and cooking healthy meals. In my opinion it is important to be patient and empathetic whilst teaching and of course there must be fun!
Beside languages I am also interested and educated in art history, which I love to share.
I can cook, clean, take care of the children (I can carry a sense of responsibility) and I have an animal heart (I have a dog myself).
