Hi 👋

I'm Lucie, I'm french and I'm passionate about Japanese culture since my childhood. I have traveled to Japan several times with my family in 2016, 2018 (as a workawayer with my partner), and in February 2023. I decide to come in Japan in december 2023 with a working holiday visa to have more time to discover a daily life in Japan, improve my Japanese, discover authentic places in Japan and meet new people.

I have a master's degree in geography and in France, my job was a cartographer.
I like sports (I'm a softball 🥎 player), cooking, discovering new things and ways of living. I have an open mind and I like to learn.

I can help for various works in house like cooking 🧑‍🍳 , painting 🎨 , house keeping 🧹 and gardening 🌱... I also have some computer and social media skills 💻 , and in video creation and infographics too.

I learned Japanese at the university, but as a second language, not as speciallity. At the beginning of my trip, I spend 6 weeks in a Japanese language school. Now I'm able to communicate with non-English speaking Japanese people in most everyday situations.
I have an intermediate level of English, I often make conjugation mistakes in discussions but I can communicate quite well ! 👐

It will be a pleasure for me if I can share my culture and my country's cooking (or that of my mother who is Italian 🇮🇹 ).
