Beschreibung

Hello, I am Alexandra (Sasha). I was born and raised in Ukraine, but I moved to Hungary (Budapest) at the age of 16 to study music. I graduated from a choir school, then studied Russian and Polish linguistics in the ELTE University of Budapest. In the meantime I was volunteering with slightly autistic children, working in Budapests famous concert hall MUPA and participating in a youth theatre.
Throughout all those years I have also been pursuing my biggest dream: singing.
After graduating from university I got an office job as a risk analyst, but quickly realised that this is not my cup of tea. I decided to finally make another dream of mine come true: travelling. I packed my bags and left for Brazil.
I have previous experiences with workawaying, also pleasant and not so pleasant ones, but I am still in love with the idea of exchanging skills for accomodation, food and unforgettable memories.
I have been on workaways on eco farms, nomad places and hostels. I love to meet new people and get to know them. I also love animals and nature. I have a fair amount of experience in hospitality, doing reception, cleaning, breakfast, since in Brazil i volunteered in a hostel of 80 people in Rio de Janeiro, right now I am managing a small (22 people) hostel on my own in a small town in Spain.
I consider myself a fast learner, therefore even if I do not posess some of the required skills it is easy for me to catch up and take the initiative afterwards. I love challenging myself and learning new skills, languages etc. I love working in a team, but am also capable of getting the job done alone. Usually I fit in easily into the teams. I like clear, open communication and respectable manners in both ways.
