Bonjour, Hej, Holà, Hello🌻

🐣 I am Alanna, a playful, creative and curious person born in Rennes a charming city in Bretagne (the Celtic part of France) and raised in an Irish/French loving family.
From a young age, i have been fascinated by the richness of our world, the people and their diversity. This has never left me. Today, i am a person full of love, dreams and happiness. With a special attraction to adventure, a zest of spirituality and big eyes to find hidden wonders.
I love playing, creating, challenging myself, celebrating, hugging, conversing, connecting, dancing, and savoring every little detail that gives life meaning to me.

I am now 23 years old. During those first few years of my life, I explored many things that made me who I am today!

🎪 After high school, I went to study Arts - as broad as it is, yes. It was 3 years of experimenting, creating, falling and I loved it! These years solidified my desire to explore the realms of Arts and embrace creativity throughout my life.
When I got my degree in fine arts I realised that it didn’t mean anything if I wasn’t in the real world nourishing curiosity, creativity and relationships…
🚌 That’s why, I left on my first backpacking adventure in January 2023 to a continent of a thousand of Colors : South America. I traveled with Mathias, a wonderful travel buddy. Together, we immersed ourselves in Latin culture for six unforgettable months.
🪁 Last September, I moved to Sweden for 10 months, to do a long term volunteering at a Cultural organisation and a creative HUB. It has been a wonderful new adventure where I met amazing new friends, I learned a lot about communication values and the power of communities (I was working as a Community builder and visual designer).
It’s nearly the end of my time in Sweden, and I am looking forward to what will come next !

Was könntest du arbeiten?

🧑‍🎨 I have good digital skills such as editing, graphic design, filming, photography and social media! I have been involved in various projects such as event photography, filmmaking, game design, social media management, book making and illustration, which have sharpen my skills. I always love to find creative way to express, build up my competences and learn new stuff!

🐙 I love to dance ! I am not a professional dancer but I dance since a few years, especially contemporary dance, contact improvisation, technosomatic and performances. I love to be part into dance projects and explore movements through creation and body expression.

🛝 I am certified as a youth worker and got plenty experiences with children and youth from all ages. I worked in many different settings, from afterschool activities to full camp organisation. Today, working with youth is not my priority any more but I still love to be surrounded by kids, they inspire me a lot and I feel that I want to empower young people by discussions, creativity, movement.

🎉 I am a good project manager and I love to organise event and festival. Connecting people and working as a group is for me super stimulating and I enjoy so much getting involve in social and fun projects.

🛠️ I am familiar and practiced in many art and handicraft forms including analogue photography, ceramics, mosaic, painting, drawing, scrapbooking, crochet, wood work, screenprinting, jewelry-making, and other hands-on art forms. I would love to share and learn more

🐚 While I do not have as much experience, I am enthusiastic about participating in projects around sustainable living and spirituality, particularly in areas such as permaculture practices, eco-building, community circles, meditation, yoga, embodiment, authentic relating... My goal is to acquire practical skills for the future.

Was noch ...

🍉 Travelling in South America has also been the opportunity to try my first Workaway’s experiences. I participated into 6 very different projects : permaculture projects, hostel life, touristic agency, creative project, yoga retreat. They made me grow and open my heart and eyes to so many things that I would have never thought about it before. This is why I cherish a lot these Workaway’s opportunities, it’s for me a very good way to meet a culture in an authentic way, create meaningful connections between people and being open to life opportunities.

🧩 I am a game lover, I grew up in a playful family and I am so grateful about that.
I love to play and to create games from quick card game to hours of board games. I will always be happy to join a social deduction game night or create an escape game…

🏕️ Nature is also very important for me, outdoors activities, camping, snorkelling, sailing, trekking… I would really like to spend more time with it.
