Beschreibung
My name is Pierre, I'm french and I'm 30 years old. I am a librarian, I'm spending two months in Colombia this summer.
I think being away from home and meeting new people all the time make me grow up and a be better person. I'm eager to expand my knowledge in education, music, alternative ways of life and workaway appears to be the best opportunity to do so. I've had 3 amazing workaway experiences during my last trip in Chile.
I have a masters in History and I've worked mostly with kids as a counsellor in schools and summer camp. I would like to be involved with something related to education so volunteering for a school or a teaching project would be best, I'm also interested in eco-friendly projects. I've done a 3 months internship in a french alliance in Cuba where I was a french teacher for kids and teenagers, it was a great experience and I want to get back to that feeling.
Volunteering for an hostel or a youth inn is also something I would like to try. I spent a week in a youth inn in Quebec full of volunteers and I loved the vibe. I have skills in bar tending since I worked one summer as a bar tender in a restaurant and also 6 months in boardgames cafe back home. I speak french, english and spanish and I think I'm good in communications.
