Beschreibung

I am a student studying Ecology and Wildlife Conservation BSc (Hons) and am looking for placement / intern / volunteering opportunities throughout Central and South America for my year placement!

I will be 28 by the time I am in Central America. I already have placements lined up in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, with the hopes of finding opportunities in Honduras and Colombia, too.

I speak basic Spanish, with a want (and need!) to improve my Spanish. I will be doing lots of self teaching in England before I start my ventures. I have already solo travelled to Peru and Ecuador doing volunteering along the way, and like to think I've picked up some good skills, Spanish and ecology and conservation knowledge along the way.

Education -

- GCSE's
- Three A levels (World Development, Sociology and Politics)
- I am TEFL Certified to teach English as a foreign language

Work experience -

Landscaping and natural construction / repairs with natural resources:

Tree cutting, making paths, creating and restoring habitats, hedges, bridges, steps, walls, clearing of vegetation, digging and groundwork, using natural materials for a desired goal, pond restoration, rejuvination and creation amongst other things.

Hospitality

Talking with the public and meeting people from around the world (Volunteering)

Responsible Travel work experience. (Helped to highlight positive and negative practices of tourism in areas, and how to be a responsible traveller etc).

I just would love some oppurtunities to be somewhere new and to really help the natural world and learn as much as I can about it. I'm very talkative and outgoing also!
