Beschreibung

Hello! We’re Nick and Paulina – a cheerful, easygoing couple looking for our next Workaway adventure. Preferably by the sea! We are looking to disconnect from our professional lives and look forward to helping out in a new environment. We both find meaning in connecting with people, learning from different cultures, and sharing our skills.

Paulina is originally from Argentina (with Italian roots!) and I am from the UK. Paulina has already been on four Workaways before and loved the experience.

A little bit about us and how we can help:

Paulina is amazing at making guests feel at home – from welcoming check-ins to smooth check-outs, she takes care of every detail to make sure things run beautifully. She has experience with cleaning, laundry, and general maintenance, and she bakes delicious desserts! She also has a solid foundation in marketing and social media – Paulina is launching her own podcast soon.

Paulina is a joyful and enthusiastic person. She loves being close to nature, practicing yoga and meditation, and learning about holistic therapies. While not vegetarian, she’s very mindful about her nutrition and enjoys cooking balanced meals. She’s also learning to surf – hoping to get better at it and improve her English along the way. For Paulina, every trip is a new chapter in an unfinished book, and every encounter is a chance to grow.

A little bit about Nick.

I am teacher by trade and have worked with students aged 11 to 25. I spent five years living in Barcelona, teaching at an international IB school where I worked with students from all over the world. One of the highlights of working at the school was organising surf trips in Northern Spain and hiking adventures in the Catalan hills.

Outside the classroom, I’ve also worked in a professional kitchen during a music festival, and I’ve catered for large supper clubs . I love being in nature, disconnecting from the fast pace of everyday life, and learning new skills. Surfing is a big passion of mine, and I’d love to spend more time by the sea.

I’m fluent in English (native) and speak almost-native Spanish too – and the same goes for Paulina. We’re happy to help with anything from hospitality, gardening and general maintenance to language exchange.

We’re excited to meet like-minded hosts and share a meaningful experience together.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Paulina is a welcoming person and adapts very well to new environments. She is a very social person and brings a warmth to all she does. She has experience of four workaways and has enjoyed reception, bar experience, event organizations, baking and social media skills.

Nick has experience in working with students through his work in colleges and schools. He has working in a professional kitchen during a music festival and has expanding skills in general maintenance.

We speak Spanish and English. We are reliable, punctual and professional!
