Beschreibung

I am French, I am from a small familly who live in the country side and I really like it.
The country side give us so many opportunities.
I really love to be surrounded by people but I also like to have my own space. I like sharing moments with my family, so if I find a place where I can feel at home, it is the best. People say that I am sympatic, dynamique and positive. I do love hiking, ski, wildlife, travel, card games, watching movies, and above all, I am a food lovers and love cooking, doing pastry or anything around food. Moreover I am responsable, tidy and reliable people. I take care of each place where I go like it's mine because I like to feel home.

Workaway is a way to learn on culture, different lifestyle and improve language. My english is good and I am confortable having conversation but I feel my vocabulary need to extend. Also it should be interesting to share my knowledge with the host.

At this time I am walking the Te Araroa trail. Currently in the south island. I am planning to be done by May.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

At home, we have a large garden with some fruit tree (cherry, fig, nut, plum, apricot and peach) ; we have a big kitchen garden and usually we grown (depending on summer/winter) tomatoes, zuchini, pepper, eggplants, potatoes, salade, cucumber, oignon, cabbage, pumkin, leek ; and we also have one tree which give us plant to make herbal tea.
Every times we can and depending on the season, we go outside pick up wild mushroom, wild salade and fruits (cheasnut, blackberry, fig, apple).
Also, my father is a hunter and a fisher, so we have at home wild meat.
To keep them for the entire year, we work on those naturals gifts. We make jam, cans with fruits, vegetables and meat, sausages and pate.
I love doing that because it’s always a nice time spent with my family, my grand-parents or my friends and because we can enjoy our products all the year. I miss so much doing that.
Since I am a child I always had animal with me. When i was a baby we had a cat, then we get ducks, chicken, goat, rabbit, and also we always had dogs at home.

Differents tasks that I can do : work in the kitchen garden, from spreading seed to harvest and preserve, take care of animals, build houses, paint, cook for the family..
