I'm Paula, from Argentina, I have 35 years old, and currently volunteering in a small guest house near Istanbul. I had workef for a few months in Tromsø, north of Norway. Travelled at mid of September hichthiking across Norway with my best friend Anabella, and since then I had travelled to a few countries these months to get to know Europe a bit better :)
I'm a curious and sensitive person who is in process of self-discovery. I want to travel and meet new places, looking to explore and learn about new cultures and people.
I'm excited to learn the value of life with a new perspective. I would like to learn new customs, ways of thinking and talk about new visions. I'd love to share unforgettable experiences with everyone I cross on the road.
On March 2020 I opened a worlpackers account in the first confinement I had due to the pandemic in Spain and I have had some volunteer experiences despite the fact that it was somewhat more complicated to travel, all of them very nice in general. First I was in the Catalan Pyrenees in a mountain refuge, then I went to Sweden 2 hours from Stockholm in a rural restaurant, from there I started working seasonally in northern Norway. And in September of last year I spent a month helping in a hostel in Copenhagen and another month in another hostel in Sarajevo.
In august of this year, 2023, I wanted to renew my membership in Wp but I couldn't pay for it, so I decided finally to open an account and give it a chance here, to continue more and new adventures!! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have worked for more than 5 years in an office as an administrative assistant, managing payments for various types of services of maintenance offered in different buildings, such as painting, repair and maintenance of elevators, general cleaning, glass cleaning, security,
I have also more than one year of experience doing housekeeping between hotels, hostels, and a rural restaurant, I'm in to details, I like to do the things as best as possible.
I have work a few summer seasons also like clothes seller, I like to be kind, to make the customer to feel comfortable and if it's necessary help to choose what is more suitable or convenient in each case.
Not so much experience as a waitress, bartending, and kitchen hand. To be honest its an area I always avoided, coz I usually don't like to be in the kitchen or cooking, but if its necessary I can do it and I have basic knowledge. Anyway that doesn't mean that form time to time I can do a meal :)
And this last 3 years as an operator in an industrial laundry, in Norway, sending trough the machines clean bed linen and towels to be folded and ironed, or also packing orders for hotels.
I define myself as a responsible person, always wanting to learn new things, open-minded, respectful and trying to do my best. I like empathy, being understanding and trying to be conciliatory when there is a difficulty,

Was noch ...

Hiking: I like very much to explore the place and go for walks, I use to do it on flat trails or with not so much slope coz I'm afraid of heights (sometimes it can be somewhat dangerous since I suffer from vertigo and when I feel dizzy I can lose my balance), but I can go to hills or small mountains as long as they are not to steep or is going to the edge of a cliff. I try from time to time to work my fear, I love the nature, and I think it is worth the effort to finally enjoy a very beautiful view.
