Hello !
I'm Paola, I'm 21 years old, I'm oryginally from Reunion Island and I now live in France for my studies.

I love to travel, discover new places and meet new people. I'm always ready to experience something new, try new activities and I love outdoor activities.

I did some very nice trips with my parents when I was younger and I now travel by my own.
I did a humanitarian trip at an orphenage in India during summer 2023 with a little group of students from my school. It was a rewarding experience.
During summer 2024, I went to British Columbia to work in a ranch and I learn so many things about ranch life and hosting guests.
During the summer of 2025, I went to Mexico to work at a surf school. I developed skills in welcoming clients, organizing a boutique, and improving my Spanish, besides learning to surf .

I'm currently doing a semester in Merida, before going to Columbia in december.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I did a first two month Workaway in Canada during which I learned many things like :
- Trail clearing : hiking in the mountains with a chainsaw to clean trails
- Hosting guest : cleaining the lodge, cooking for guests, welcomming them
- Wrangling : catch, preapare and ride horses, lead pack horses
- Little fencing and carpentry projects
- Drive a tractor to mow a field

During my second Workaway at a surf school in Mexico, I learned to :
- Welcome clients in both English and Spanish.
- Work within a large team, alongside other volunteers as well as employees.
- Organize a boutique and take care of the surfboards.

I learn quickly and I am diligent. If the basics are shown to me, I can help with any task.

I am athletic and energetic, so I have no problem performing tasks that require good physical condition.

I love animals, which generally allows me to have a good connection with them. Taking care of them is therefore no problem for me, on the contrary! I have practiced horse riding for several years, so I am comfortable working with horses.

French is my native language, it would be a pleasure to help people who would like to learn the basics or improve their skills. During my first workaway in British Columbia, I improved my english level but I still want to practice !

Was noch ...

I love every outdoor activities, like hiking, camping and all sports, ... I recently learned to surf and got addicted to it!
I really enjoy a good game of volleyball and I’m always up for a chill game night or a night out!
I also like manual activities such as drawing, knitting or sewing.
I’m all about good vibes — I love going out and having fun, staying active, but also enjoying chill moments. I adapt easily and try to keep a nice balance in life, with a little bit of everything!!
