Hello! :)

I'm Ophelia from Australia. I'm currently on a career break, doing some travel, exploring, learning new things, and seeing where the world takes me.

I am going to be in Thailand in April and am looking for a Workaway during this time.

In Australia, I work in advocacy for the environmental sector. I've taken this time off to slow down and experience more of life's simplicities, away from the constant screens and distractions of the fast-paced 9-5 life. I’m a nature and animal lover, and in my spare time, I enjoy camping and hiking, live music, reading, running, and spending time with friends and family.

I consider myself a laid-back, open-minded, and respectful person.

I spent a lovely three weeks at Ruth and Peter’s home in the South of France.

Workawayers typically stay in one of the small studio apartments separate from the main house, which provides a sense of privacy and independence, including the option to cook for yourself.

We thoroughly enjoyed hosting Ophelia in October with a couple of other workawayers. She is a great team player, uncomplicated and a hard worker. She has a can-do attitude (just love Australians!😊) and was very discreet. Stephanie and Sebastian live in a gorgeous house in a stunning part of Germany. I was with them for 10 days and they were welcoming and friendly from the very start. They even went out of their way to come and pick me up when I got a bit stranded due to train cancellations.
