I'm a digital nomad. I traveled for almost 2 year. Now I live in Serbia and open to explore Balkans.

Beschreibung

Hi! I'm Olesia. I grew up in a small town in Siberia (Russia), in a family where no one ever traveled, even on vacation. But I dreamed, played travel and adventure.

I've been traveling since February 2023.

I am inspired by meeting new cultures, studying history, contact with beautiful architecture, nature and interesting people. Traveling expands my inner world and makes the outside world closer.

I love wandering around ancient fortresses and cities. I see the variability of everything, feel that there is something more than my momentary history, on the one hand, and on the other, the importance and significance of everyone, every life, every movement of ours, from which that greater thing is made up.

What did I learn while traveling? There are people everywhere. We want peace, to be happy, to learn new things, to raise children and animals, to travel, to admire nature, to eat delicious food, to love. We are all the same in our humanity and at the same time different as individuals. It's so interesting to recognize and complement each other.

I'm on Workaway because I want to help and learn new things.
I love children, playing with them and watching them explore the world.
I am interested in the topic of sustainable development and would like to take part in projects that help preserve our planet.

Sometimes I want to be alone to regain my strength and hear myself. But I am open and happy to communicate and meet new people.

I am open-minded, active and responsible person. I will be happy to help and learn new things.

I really like speaking English, although my level is average. I continue to study it. Also I always learn a few words in the local language. I think it's very nice to hear people say thank you in your language :) I would like to study Serbian, Ukranian, German, Italian and Spanish. I can teach Russian.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I know how to help, accompany, be hospitable.
I love order in things and documents. I know how to organize it.
I work with financial documents and reporting and have good knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.

I picked coffee in Mexico and strawberries in Russia.
I know how and love to paint boards, pipes and other surfaces.

I have been doing yoga for more than 8 years. Over time, this became the philosophy of my life. I'm not a professional teacher, but I can teach a little.

I have experience caring for small children: playing, feeding, changing diapers, dressing, walking.

I worked as a waiter in a cafe in India. I volunteered in the kitchen and dining room at a yoga house.
I am a volunteer for an organization that trains the population in separate waste collection. Participated in garbage collection in public places in Russia and Armenia.
I gave lectures on separating and reducing waste. Organized waste separation at the yoga studio I visited.

I’m good at cleaning, but not so much at cooking. Of course, I can prepare some russian dishes :) and help to cook.

If there is a mountain or a fortress, I definitely need to climb there, even though I am afraid of heights!
I love hiking and if I can walk somewhere, I will choose to walk.
My dream is to travel in a motorhome around England and Europe.
