Beschreibung

Nora: I love spotting animals in the wild and observing them from a distance. Being surrounded by nature always gives me a sense of perspective, and helps me connect with myself and with what is happening inside me. Being close to the ocean is one of my biggest dreams: listening to the waves and connecting with their rhythm.
I love drawing and making illustrations, as it is one of the ways I express my feelings. I try to understand my needs and stay close to my authentic self; learning to trust myself is what keeps me growing and exploring.
I eat vegan and vegetarian and I love cooking. What matters most to me is creating connections, supporting the people around me, and building a sense of community. Deep connections are what make me feel alive.

Gigi: I'm interested in nature, people, art and learning new things. The idea of taking care of animals, gardening or building things excites me very much! I grew up in a place 80% nature so after years in the city I'm allowing myself to go back to the roots, and work hard for a good reason. My uni background is in arts, first music and then visual- so if there's to create art projects I'm ready. I enjoy cooking alone or with people and I'm a very straightforward person so I need clear, transparent (and caring!) communication at all times. Looking forward to meet new people!

We’ve been together for six years and have lived in cities for much of that time, between Bologna and Berlin. We always reached a point where we both felt the need to escape the city and go back to nature.
Sharing these experiences together has created a deep bond between us, and it has also helped us understand that we don’t want to keep chasing the pace of the city, but rather be in touch with our own rhythm, with nature, and with the people around us.
That’s why we left everything behind and started this new adventure in Australia, and we can’t wait to see things we can’t even imagine yet.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Nora: I enjoy organising schedules, creating plans, monitoring how others are doing, and offering emotional support. Above all, I always remind everyone to stay hydrated! :)
I like doing things with my hands: if something is broken, I enjoy coming up with ways to fix it. I like painting walls and assembling furniture or structures. I love gardening, and I would really like to learn more about growing plants and all kinds of vegetables. I enjoy taking care of plants.
I am someone who puts a lot of effort into the things I start, and I rarely leave something unfinished. I find art to be a powerful way to express one’s emotions and inner self.
I have worked with social media for years, and I like how it can create opportunities to connect with many people, grow, and also support one another.
I have been cooking vegan food for a long time, and I love cooking it for others, including for large groups!

Gigi: I am an Italian multimedia artist with a background in jazz music and music for film, later in life I’ve approached visual arts and went to uni to learn about the application of new technologies to art. That doesn’t mean I don’t like to get my hands dirty! I enjoy working manually, building, and thinking of ways to create new things, things that can help people in their daily needs. I am not a project leader yet, but I’d love to learn and take more responsibilities as I go.
Cooking and getting together with people is a must for me, and a passion of mine. I think it’s a way to get people together, even if it’s just about sharing the food and not the table, the simple fact that somebody cares for them creates love.

Was noch ...

We love video games, especially the ones we can play in co-op mode. We love taking walks in the forest and being close to any source of water. We love reading and journaling. We like spending time talking about everything.
Gigi plays acoustic guitar. Nora draws little creatures. We both really enjoy quiet and silent moments, especially in nature. We really like spending time with others and building community.
We strongly believe in sustainable living, respect for nature, and respect for those who live in it. We always support each other, as well as the people around us, in continuing to grow. We care deeply about others and their wellbeing.
