Hello everyone,
I'm Nela and I'm really glad to welcome you on my profile :) Firstly what you should know about me is that I'm a huge animal lover. As I have a dog I love to spend all my free time with her outside in terrain exploring beauties of nature.
Mountains, woods and rural landscape are places I like the most. I also like children of all age, I like to see them happy, playing with them, reading books and just laughing about little things :) That's the reason I'd like to become a paediatrician. I'm at med school and I appreciate every experience with kids or people in need.
I also like experiencing different cultures, different cuisines, and learning as much as possible about the places I visit by embracing the people I come in contact with. I think I'm a friendly, calm and easy-going person, sometimes a little bit shy at the beginning but very reliable and optimistic. I'm not afraid of physical work and eager to learn many different skills.
I am looking forward to meet amazing people and help them about the house, or play with a children, provide my assistance and support.
Thats why I am here at Workaway community and I really want to support all kind of projects around the world to help good people to make this world better :)

I am quite self-sufficient person. I appreciate company but I'm also completely fine by myself. I like to learn many new things. I like to work with animals, I have much experiences with dogs. I'd like to learn how to take care of different types of animals with respect to their needs and their nature. I'd also like to spend time with kids, I'm very reliable and I have empathy with them.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Join us around our house on a ...)

This was my first workaway experience and I was very satisfied. I stayed by Eva together with my dog Holly for over two weeks and I enjoyed every day. Eva lives with her two daughters Lea and Nadine on a big farm surrounded by really nice landscape. In my free time I enjoyed many wonderful walks in the woods and meadows nearby with my dog.
What I… read more really appreciated was that Eva and girls allowed me to stay there with my dog and had a really nice relationship with her. It´s clear, that they are huge animal-lovers and treat all their animals with love and respect to their nature. It´s kind of therapy just to watch thier donkeys, horse and pony all together on a meadow - no stress, no worries.... And that´s exactly what my stay here was like - no stress, no worries and a feeling like I was a part of the family. I liked the mornings, when I went with Lea and Nadine downhill to Gresten to meet their friend. The girls always keeped an eye on Holly, when she was running on the meadows and they often joined her. I will always remember these moments, Lea and Nadine are some of the best young girls I´ve ever met. Nadine loves animals with all her heart, she looks like a princess when she rides their horse Kaskado. She can play a guitar, sing and dance very nice. Lea is a big dreamer, art-lover, ballet-dancer and the biggest reader I know, she has read hundreds of books and also many articles about animals. It was awesome just to listen how much she knows about dogs and their abilities and needs. They´re both good LEGO-builders and I liked to joined them. Always when I spoke with them, their were so considerate of my german, they never loughed about my mistakes and tried to help me to say it right. They are both so nice and intelligent and I wish them to go to their new school really soon, so they can meet new good friends, improve their skills and enrich their knowledge with many new things.
Eva was a big help for my german too. She also showed me many practical tricks in cleaning and cooking and I really admired her self-made cosmetic and bread! She´s a good cooker, I liked every lunch she cooked. The accomodation was great too. I slept in a cute room for guests with a fantastic view on their garden!
I think I´ve learned much, not just the speech, but also something about ecology and Austria :)
I want to thank you very much for everything and I hope we´ll stay in contact and meet in sommer :)
