Beschreibung

Hi, my name's Nele :)
I am a 19 year old from Germany and have finished school last year in June. Having always loved traveling with my family, learning about different cultures and seeing new places, I decided to take some time to travel to the other side of the planet. I've been in NZ for six months now, mostly working (housekeeping and helping out as a kitchenhand in a restaurant) and traveling inbetween jobs. As my time here is slowly coming to an end, I'd like to make the most out of it by doing some wwoofing/ helping out people on workaway and experience this beautiful country from another point of view.
I am fluent in German, English and have some skills in French and Spanish as well. Not only would I love to improve my knowledge in those languages, but would also enjoy to learn a new one. My interests mainly consist of taking care of animals, cleaning/organising, gardening, reading, doing creative tasks such as crocheting, sewing or drawing, spending time in nature - especially tracking/hiking and doing other sports - and listening to music.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Housework:
I love doing basic chores such as cleaning, cooking, doing laundry or the dishes and also enjoy reorganizing and tidying up eg. the kitchen/ drawers/ wardrobes...
I've also been working as a housekeeper in different places, which has taught me how to do basic tasks more quickly and to pay more attention to detail.

Animal care:
I have always lived with a dog and therefore know how to entertain and take care of them, I especially enjoy going for long walks with them. I also love to take care of cats and other pets and farm animals. I have bit of experience with taking care of chicken as well, as I went to Denmark in 2022 and was surrounded by chicken for two weeks, cleaning their shed, collecting eggs and seeing little chicks hatch.

Gardening:
Ever since I was little, my parents have been growing fruit and vegetables in our garden. By helping them all around the year, I have gathered a bit of experience. During my stay in Denmark I have also spent most of my days taking care of the garden, picking fruit, weeding weed and cutting down bushes.

Building:
I have a bit of experience in building, renovating and repairing, having helped my father build things all around the house. I also helped my host in Denmark building a tiny house and am open to learn more about this field.
