Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

I want to seek discomfort (#YesTheory) get to know the people and culture of Latin America, have an adventure, learn Salsa and learn how deal with difficult situations.

Beschreibung

I want to leave my comfort zone get to know the people and culture of central America, talk to interesting people, have an adventure and grow personally I believe you cannot escape hardships in life but you prepare yourself to confront them and not to get lazy. My goal is to become more courageous and adult.

I want to experience how life is like in other countries (How work, family, habits, solving problems, retiring, social norms, traditions etc are different) because I have got to know and talked to so many foreigners over the years that I finally want to see if for myself. I want to get my hands dirty and do things, work physically, always eager to learn new skills. I am curious to learn for example how to raise,kill and take apart animals for meat, how to craft baskets make original tortillas, use plants as medicine or navigating far from any city. (For existing skills see down below) While working together I will be asking lots of questions. ( I am sure I can tell you some interesting stories and facts as well).
I am confident in my Spanish but you are always welcome to help me get more advanced.

Open communication is key, there is no problem with criticism if I made a mistake. You can tell me, I will learn and we can move on together. If you are enthusiastic about something I will be as well.

Learning: Spanish->Interested in intermediate or advanced teacher who will push me to my limits to learn a lot Teaching: (see Description of skills) English until upper end of intermediate level. I have had a total of 12 years of classes and many years of experience. I was also taught Spanish grammar for 2 years in a language school but I have practiced less. This includes some translation training (en es)! If interested I can of course also teach German but less "professional" Most importantly, I enjoy talking to people and I have a good intuition what they want to say.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

1. I have some experience in a variety of crafts:
- Gardening, Renovating and some construction, Concrete foundations, I have already painted lots of walls and wooden structures, changed electrical wires, built fences, repaired bicycles etc.

2. I am competent at language exchange: Not only do I have friends from many different countries, I have two year of formal training in translation and grammar (English) and many years of school classes (see above)

3.I have a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, so I have a technical mindset.

Was noch ...

If you unsure about accepting my offer, please write me. We can talk and negotiate about anything(working hours ,where to sleep, special needs). It is my experience that you can come up with solutions you did never think were possible. I can adapt to almost everything.

We can also set up a trial phase like: I am working for 2-3 days with you and if there is any problem no matter and without questions we can separate again without discussion or bitter aftertaste.
