Hi!
I am a 27-year-old Hungarian traveller, nature lover, and secondary school teacher. I finished ELTE university in Budapest as a language teacher (English, German) last year. For that reason, I am particularly interested in travelling and encountering different cultures. Although I am working at a secondary school in the meantime, I aim to grab every opportunity to spend the school breaks in nature, among mountains or at the seaside while travelling and helping around. I am also fond of other artistic activities, as well, like singing (especially Hungarian folk sogs), playing the flute, doing DIY or cooking. Throughout my university studies I have already collected some workaway experience on self-sustainig farms and by local communities. Volunteering grew close to my heart from the very beginning. I am happy to help and eager to lern new skills which I could use for my own gardening projects at home, as well. My utmost aim is to travel around the world bit by bit, encounter different cultures, support communities and exchange valuable experiences. I hope that I can bring these insights into the classrom and inspire my students. I consider myself as a responsible, hard-working, flexible and cheerful person who likes giving a hand while having some fun.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Owing to my part time jobs (junior (indoor) climbing instructor, private teacher, babysitter) and interest in the teaching profession I gained experience in teaching children and working in teams. I have helped many times in different summer camps as organiser and instructor, such as hiking and biking summer camp, dance camp and ornithology camp.
I have some hiking and backpacking skills, I like spending time in nature and working in the garden. I have experience with chores around the house, I believe I have a good sense for (vegetarian, vegetable-based) cooking and baking.
I have a driver's license (B category) and I use my driving skills regularly.
I am open to new experiences and I am ready to learn new skills.
