Beschreibung

Both our parents have given us the passion of traveling since we are children, and now that we are able to travel on our own we want to discover countries and people around the world.
We believe that workaway is favorable for simple and rich encounters. We want to help people and share their life and habits in return.

Morane: I am from live a small city in the North of France. I have been in many countries with my family, and I have just spent a year in Australia (working holiday visa), where I have met Kaleb. I like to spend time in nature and by the sea, we have the forest on one side and the cliffs and sea on the other. I need sport in my life, I do mountain bike in the forest, I try to run as much as possible and I began surfing a few weeks ago.
I have spent 1 month in a tea plantation farm in Nepal and I enjoyed working outside everyday, helping cooking with raw and organic vegetables... It was a very simple way of life but so rich with sharing knowledges and cultural habits. I also have many other workaway experiences. I have worked in hospitality mostly in France and have labour experience in Australia.

Kaleb : I was born and raised in Australia and most my childhood has been traveling and exploring new places and experiences. I have been fortunate enough to travel around Australia 3 times with my parents and now feel capable and ready to take on new challenges and learn new cultures while exploring all at once!
I have many trade/labour intensive work backgrounds and hospitality experience and as long as the work environment is friendly I am willing to work hard and be a cooperative worker, i'm sure i can fit in any environment and work great with new people. As my passion is so pure to learning new cultures and ways of living i am sure i will be fast and efficient with any role i am put on.

New Zealand has always been on top of both our lists for places to visit and learn as it seems to have amazing landscapes and scenery and the culture seems so inviting. We would feel privileged to have the opportunity to set foot on New Zealand as our first place of travel together outside of Australia.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Morane :
I have worked in several museums and I spent the last 6 months as a waitress in a tearoom and restaurant. I have an experience in grape harvesting and I have learnt a little about oenology basics. I did workaway in several guesthouses in Sri Lanka with reception or daily tasks such as cleaning. I also have skills in languages and translation so if needed I could teach some french, english or even spanish. Finally I am really close to nature so working on a farm or helping gardening is something satisfiying for me. I also love animals so I will love taking care of them.

Kaleb :
I have many trade/labour intensive work backgrounds, for example i have completed 3 and a half years of a painting and decorating cert 3 apprenticeship and a year of Servicing Automotive tech cert 1, i also have hospitality experience for example cafes, restaurant work and delivery driving, and as long as the work environment is friendly I am willing to work hard and be a cooperative worker, i'm sure i can fit in any environment and work great with new people. As my passion is so pure to learning new cultures and ways of living i am sure i will be fast and efficient with any role i am put on.
