Hi I'm Milena, I'm 23 years old and I live in Rome. My parents are from the Philippines but I was born and raised in Italy! So yes I grew up between two different cultures and people always asked me in which side I felt more at home but honestly I can't choose, I feel like wouldn't be the me I'm right now if I had to pick just one. Thanks to that I've always been attracted to other cultures, from the language, to the food and traditions, thus to travelling! During highschool I studied maths and scientific subjects but in the end I choose to study languages and got a degree in oriental languages, in particular Japanese (I also understand a bit of Spanish, Korean and Portuguese)!
Throughout my teenage years I lived up to the dream to go to Japan one day but until now I still haven't had the occasion. I'm not giving up tho, I'm patient and goal oriented.
Currently I'm working as a shop assistant at Yamamay, in the central station of Rome (I meet a lot of diffrent peopole everyday and I really like it, but my dream job is to be a flight attendant!) to save some money so I can travel this summer with my boyfriend.


Hi! My name is Vincenzo, I'm 23 years old and I was born and raised in Rome. In 2018 i embarked on a one month trip around Europe with 3 of my best friends using the Interrail pass. This fantastic journey kickstarted my passion for people, their lives and their stories, and for the world in general and made me realise how much meeting new people from different cultures with differents backgrounds opened my mind and made me feel alive so that's one of the most important things I want to pursuit in life. I'm really passionate about lot of things: hiking, mountains, animals and being outside in the nature but most of all: music, cinema and arts in general, I'm currently studying Sound Design at the European Institute of Design (IED) here in Rome with the hope to become a professional Sound Designer or Composer for cinema one day. To do this kind of job one must be really creative and I consider myself to be one but a key element must also be curiosity. I think that curiosity is a powerful fuel for creative imagination hence why I love to spend time seeking inspiration from the world that surrounds me and I always try to learn something new from things that pique my interests.

Milena:
-gardening and animal care ( I had cat and dogs, but also experience with animals like cows, pigs, goats, horses and roasters)
-assemble furniture ( i assembled all the furnitures of my room and I really enjoy doing it!)
-house keeping, house chores and cooking of course!
-Knitting (beginner level)
-willing to learn anything else!

Vincenzo:
Living in a city apartment, my skills are mainly tech, PC and music related. Other than that I can cook and clean and do some housekeeping. Milena also taught me a little bit of sewing and knitting! I also have experience with animal care (I have a cat) and some gardening too. My uncle has a small piece of land with a large variety of trees and food, mainly fruits, to harvest and I always help him when I have the occasion and i really love doing that. Overall I'm a really curious person so I can adapt to every situation and I always try to help everyone so I can learn something new from them!

Was noch ...

Our story:
We met back in 2019, a few months before covid. It was the very first day of university and that day we were supposed to attend our first lecture but was cancelled last minute. I was already on my way to the campus and fortunately I wasn't the only one that didn't know about the postponed lesson. We were a small group of students and thanks to this coincidence we became friends! So yes, we were both part of this group and as the weeks passed, we got closer and decided to date.

As a couple we really love travelling! From visiting cities to hiking mountains, so far we did small trips around Italy and nearby but since we want to do trips that lasts more than just a few days, we decided to open this couple account.
What we'd love to experience is to fully immerse ourselves in a different culture, learning new skills, meeting people from different backgrounds and listen to their stories! Of course we are also food enjoyers and we adore animals!
