Petra

Hello! I’m a volunteer from the Czech Republic, currently in New Zealand on a Working Holiday visa with my friend. Right now, we are working on a sweet potato farm, and I’m excited to expand my volunteering experience here in New Zealand.

Back home, I’ve volunteered on various short-term projects, including helping at a brewery, on a farm, and at festivals. This will be my first time volunteering through Workaway, and I’m really looking forward to it. I hope to learn new skills and meet amazing people along the way.

I’m also a qualified dental hygienist, which has given me excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work well with people.

In my free time, I love hiking, especially in the mountains, and I’m passionate about all animals—I’d love the chance to work with them as part of my volunteering. I’m also a big nature lover, practice yoga, and enjoy cycling. Cooking and baking are my other passions. I have experience working in pastry shops, and I’d be happy to bring those skills to any project. I also love playing board games and enjoy listening to music or attending concerts.

I’m hardworking, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new things. I can’t wait to contribute to a project and be part of the Workaway community!

Hi, I'm Michaela and I like to explore the world, could I explore it with you?

I am open to any kind of work and I like to try anything new or improve on things I have already tried.

Among my main hobbies are traveling, creating new flavors in the kitchen, both in cooking and baking, that's why I went to a hotel secondary school. Subsequently, I became interested in learning about children's world and I graduated from a university of pedagogy, my interest in children's world and their psychology also always accompanies me. I am not only interested in child psychology, but psychology as such, I like to learn about interpersonal relationships and I like to be in contact with people.

I grew up in a village in a family house with a garden, so I'm no stranger to housework but also gardening, we always had animals around the house, mainly cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits or goats
