Hi there! I'm Mélusine

Who am I?
I'm a dynamic hospitality advocate with a passion for creating vibrant community spaces where people connect, share stories, and feel at home away from home.
I love outdoors jobs : taking care of animals, renovation, splitting logs...
I also love cooking, savory and sweet.
The more I learn the better!

What do I want to do?
I want to meet people, explore multiple exemple of way of living and learning everything.
I'm very glad that I can come help so many different people through this platform!

I would love to get more experiences with the outdoors jobs I mentioned and learn how to take care of a garden.

What did I do before?
I've did a couple of workaway : one on Austria, the other in the Netherlands. That's how I know that I love working outdoors!
Coming from managing coworking spaces, I'm excited to discover other type of community.

Other leisure?
I'm used to exercice daily : hiking, cycling, swimming, yoga and HIIT
I'm reading a lot, sudoku and trying to learn knitting (so hard!)

Events : With 100+ diverse events under my belt (concerts, debates, pop-up markets, film screenings), I know how to create experiences that attract everyone from curious newcomers to seasoned locals. I love turning spaces into living, breathing communities.

Culinary Skills : I cook with passion and understand how good food brings people together - perfect for creating that cozy hostel atmosphere where travelers bond over shared meals.

Swiss Army Knife : Whether it's administrative tasks, creative problem-solving, or building partnerships with local businesses and institutions, I'm autonomous, flexible, and always ready to roll up my sleeves.

People Person : Fluent in English and experienced with diverse international crowds, I thrive on connecting with people from all walks of life. My management style is collaborative - I trust my team, find solutions together, and stay flexible to meet both guest and staff needs.

Was noch ...

I practice sport 2 to 3 times a week : cycling, hiking, yoga. I can teach some stuff.
I love listening to music, especially blues and rock.
Always eager to learn new things, I would love to learn how to build stuff (building, interior design).
