Hi!
My name is Melanie, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Denmark. I'm taking a gap year right now, and really want to travel a bit, so I get to explore the world before my "real life" begins. I thought that Workaway would be a great way to travel, but to travel in a different way, and get some experiences that you usually wouldn't get, since I get to know some locals.
In my daily life, I'm very family-oriented, as I live close to my siblings and their families. Other than that, I enjoy reading, watching movies, going to the gym and etc.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I speak English pretty fluently - last year I studied English at a university in Washington for a semester, and my plan is to study English at a Danish university as well, and then become a High School English teacher in the future. I also speak Danish fluently (of course) and would be happy to teach you some if interested.
I have work experience as I have worked in a supermarket, as a waitress, and as a tutor since I was 16 years old. I'm very used to working, and don't mind having a bigger workload, as long as I do have time to go exploring as well (I am traveling after all). I don't have any work experience with children (other than tutoring), but all of my siblings have kids, so I'm used to babysitting my nephews and nieces:)
