Workawayers, welcomers, hello and nice to meet you !
In these uncertain times, we hope this profile description finds you well.

We are Tom and Melanie, a complementary french couple working in different fields, since Tom is store manager and Mélanie is psychologist and used to be housekeeping for many years. Tom is 28 years old, Mélanie 29 and We dream about the exact same thing: discovering the world.

In these unique but strange period, we decided to go for our dream : going away around the world. This project represent an important step in our life and is a thoughtful project.

We've been traveling and volunteering for the past 8 months now (Canada, USA, Mexico and Colombia) and we are living the MOST AMAZING experience of our life so far !

We love to explore the world we live in. Here is a list of examples of what we did during our volunteering:

- Doing some lumberjack work and renovating a cottage on an island
- Helping someone with a house moving, and some gardening
- Doing the daily cleaning in a hostel
- Working in a maple syrup farm during winter

As super curious people, we just want to exchange with people, in order to discover new culture, different way of living, and wonderful landscapes. We love to have discussion for hours about music, society, people and life in general. But when needed, or wanted, we also enjoy a bit of privacy and calm.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are super super curious and never satiated. Meaning that we are quite good and interested in many different activities.

Such as :
- housekeeping
- cleaning
- fixing an oldy/dusty/rusty bike
- petting your animals (Mélanie looooooves animals)
- gardening
- making some good tea
- building a treehouse
- changing a car tire
- talking hours about the world we live in (talking is sharing, and sharing is caring)
- fixing computer issues
- playing badminton, yoga or football
- making cakes (but Tom definitely needs to practice)

Also, regarding our past studies and our work field, we can admit that Mélanie is a first a really good housekeeping girl, but also very empathic and a good listener to talk to. Always ready to share some good advices as a psychologist. Tom is pretty good at selling stuff; from a fork to a car and enjoy fixing/building stuffs.

But in our deep self what we like the most is sharing and meeting people living a total different life. Or the exact same as ours, we are open minded ;)
