My name is Mel, a 32 years young women, born and raised in a small village in Germany, living at the beautiful Algarve coast in Portugal (my heart is always following the sun and at the beach I do feel the most happy and free)
I am currently taking 2 years off from work, to go traveling this beautiful earth solo and slowly. I spent the last year in stunning New Zealand and the last 3 months in South America, doing my Yoga teacher training in the sacred valley in Peru and now the winds blew me to beautiful Australia.
I have a big curiousity and excitement getting to know new places, learning about different cultures and learning new skills.
I am happy to share with you in exchange yoga and meditation classes and many funny stories from the life of a flight attendant.
I find workaway a wonderful & enriching experience to connect with people from all around the world and to learn from one another, gaining new perspectives. I appreciate your hospitality to inviting the world to your home and this valuable cultural exchange.
I am passionate about learning languages. I am fluent in german, spanish and english and are currently learning portuguese as Portugal will stay my home base in the future.
I am a very open-minded person, animal and nature lover. I am sad i could not take my piano traveling with me that I decided to start learning the guitar! My new best travel companion!!

Soy Melanie Charlotte, una chica de nacionalidad alemana, soy una persona muy abierta y social, trabajadora, activa, creativa, comunicativa y con muchas ganas trabajar y apoyar como voluntaria y al mismo tiempo disfrutar conocer gente nueva.
Desde siempre he mostrado un interés para aprender idiomas y conocer más acerca de otros países y culturas. Durante mis viajes aprendí al mismo tiempo competencias interculturales y empatía, así como una nueva forma de cercanía con la gente.
Estoy buscando continuamente vivir nuevas experiencias, ganar nuevo conocimiento e intento practicar mi español cada que tengo oportunidad y nada mejor para ello que vivir y trabajar con personas del pais en que estoy viajando.
