Beschreibung

I'm Mel, Food Journalist by trade, but working on my own business circulating around Mentoring, Workshops & Retreats. I'm a free spirit, love to inspire people and be inspired. I left my home country Germany in early June 2022 and spent the past 13 months traveling and volunteering in Vermont, United States as well as in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I enjoy the simple pleasures of life, a forest walk, great conversations with like minded people, good food, fresh air.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've done all sorts of things in the past. I've been working on a tea farm in Japan, done everything from harvesting till preparing green tea over there. I've done Wwoofing helping a family with their homestead, e.g. building a green house, helping with the animals, processing produce from their garden, etc.
I've been doing work exchange at a Yoga Retreat Center and farm (mostly helping with harvesting and processing their produce as well as preparing meals, cooking & baking, support during Retreats) in Vermont as well as at Pachamama eco village in Costa Rica helping at their cafe and restaurant.
I spent 1 week house sitting and volunteering at a Finca in Nicaragua, too.

Was noch ...

I practise Yoga and meditation. I'm a coffee specialist and can geek out about coffee a lot. I like to do some water coloring from time to time. I'm also a food photographer and writer. I'm currently working on building my own business around Mentoring/Guidance, Workshops & Retreats.
