Hey yall!

I am Meghane from Canada! I am from Quebec, a french-speaking province. Three years ago, I moved on the other side of my country, in British columbia. I have been teaching french over there to children between 6 and 12 years old.

One day I saw a video of the rice fields in Northern Vietnam and really fell in love with everything I was reading about this beautiful country. This was my first country in this trip and I slowly made my way around South East Asia before going to India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. After this incredible trip, I feel the need to settle down and get into a routine in a new country.

My next adventure is a Working Holiday Visa in Australia, more precisely in Perth. I have met beautiful people on my travel that shape my idea of moving in this beautiful country. I am ready to meet new people, create some roots and put in the work.

I believe that volunteering is the best way to connect deeper with the culture. This is the reason why I always try to include one in every country I visit. I am always ready for a good adventure and to deal with discomfort. Communication and ease to adapt are two of my main qualities.

I really hope that our paths will cross!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have been working in customer service for the past 8 years. I tried many different fields to discover which one I like the most. I speak two languages : english and french.

For the past 2 years, I have been teaching french to children between 6 and 12 years old in an elementary school. Also, for the past 2 summers, I also have been working in two different summer camps - one for adult and one for children- to teach english with entertaining activities.
I also had a serving job, which provided me some useful interpersonnal skills.

I also have a degree in accounting, which I have been using by learning more about finances.

I love drawing and hope to be able to reconnect with a creative side of me I have been hiding in the past years. I also like writing and taking photos!

You might hear me sing once in a while. I get there when I feel really comfortable somewhere.
